How do I convert OGG to WAV?
OGG Vorbis is common in games and web audio, but editors, some game engines, and CD tools often prefer uncompressed WAV. Converting to WAV turns your OGG into the raw PCM format those tools work with cleanly.
Upload your OGG file and choose WAV as the output, then download it. OGG Vorbis is a compressed lossy format and WAV is uncompressed, so the WAV will be much larger and will not sound better, since decompressing cannot restore detail OGG already discarded. It simply gives editors a raw PCM file.
How it works
Upload your OGG file
Select or drag in the OGG Vorbis audio you want to convert.
Choose WAV as the output
Set WAV as the target so the audio is decompressed into uncompressed PCM.
Download your WAV
Save the WAV, ready for your editor, game engine, or CD software.
